This example is of the Type A Sector Clock as found in the Biggin Hill Ops and Dispersal rooms during World War 2 and especially during the Battle of Britain.

A full story of the role these clocks played during the war and how important they were is printed is accompanied in the packaging.

Glass dome lens to protect the dial from tampering and dust.

Fitted with a High Quality Sweep quartz movement and metal indicator hand.

The 12 hour rotation  with the 24 hours of the day shown.

Virtually silent, very accurate sweep movement.

Operated from a single Standard AA battery.
